The present course is aimed at understanding the first steps in an LCA project, the ones before using an LCA tool. Participants will be able to:
- Reading LCA reports and searching the important information needed to understand and use them.
- Consider the function and performance of a system in an LCA project.
- Ask relevant question to suppliers about the information needed for an assessment.
The course will provide participants with information around the following topics:
- Defining a functional unit
- Collecting flows for the system
- Create hypothesis to compensate when there isn’t enough information.
