The Training Modules have been designed as a pedagogical tool  to facilitate the development of training activities on Ecodesign for sustainable Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) addressed to VET and in-company teachers, trainers and managers.

This will help to upskill these professionals to support IVET and CVET students to acquire knowledge on how to apply the principles of Ecodesign in the CCI environment.

The ECODesign4EU Training Modules provide a structured set of innovative training contents and practical activities developed on the basis of the European ECVET Curriculum of reference on Ecodesign for sustainable Creative and Cultural Industries, first project result of the ECODesign4EU project.

The document is structured following the learning areas and learning outcomes identified in the European ECVET Curriculum of reference:

1. Ecodesign Strategies and Sustainability

  • Basic components of Ecodesign Principles
  • Strategic foresight in the CCIs market
  • Sustainable Strategic Business Plan in CCIs
  • Implementation of sustainable design concepts

2. Business and Sustainability

  • Circular supply chain system
  • Lifecycle assessment methodology
  • Sustainable digital transformation of CCIs

3. Production and Sustainability

  • Sustainable resources and their selection
  • Adaptation of the concepts of Circular Economy to the CCI sector
